Water Flotation Dumper

One man is now able to load 200 bushels of fruit per hour with this gentle action flotation dumper. The quality of the product is retained as bruising and stem puncturing is eliminated. The loading of full bins by manual pallet truck or fork lift is easily accomplished. The sturdy dumper hydraulics will hoist the load to tank height where they are manually pushed onto the submersion rolls. Bulk bin is held down against the water pressure of submersion by and over the bin hydraulic cylinder. Submersion time is 20 seconds, lifting time 20 seconds. Cylinders are set for full stop at top and bottom. When the bin is submerged, the fruit floats to the surface and is carried forward to the small apple eliminator elevator.

The chain sizer will eliminate undersized apples, which are ejected by water pressure to a chain mesh elevator. A second chain mesh elevator eliminates small apples and leaves. A drain trough with aluminium rollers is supplied. The empty bin drains while unloading the next bin.
